...and the journey goes on.
Barely recovered from the shock of the vanished ocean, he finds himself on unknown fields.
Constant rain pratters down on him incessantly. Nightmares plague him. Visions come and go.
And the feeling of loneliness is unbearable. He prays to unknown powers to help him getting out of this misery.
But ghosts from his past plague him: a fire in which he had lost so much.
In these fields he encounters a portal that leads into the depths of his past. It seems to call him.
He rushes into it and ends up in a dark memory of his mysterious love - Julia, whom he had fallen for painfully. Memories of past times. A castle. Her aloofness. But he does not remember much else.
Despite doubt and a kind of fear, he tries to cling to it compulsively and breaks away from her dark maelstrom at least.
The memory and with it the portal disappears and triggers a leap in time.
Now he drifts, weightless, timeless. Caught in a kind of permanent twilight state, which, like flashbacks, leads him to more memories of his past. However, he is always in the same place.
In the moonlight. The curse of Julia.
