about

A parallel story (on an almost guitarless planet ;o) :
This is about the last days of Julia's homeland, the city of Alnoxthenya, technologically advanced. Near the center, which is thousands of years old, there is a palace. It is Julia's palace from which she rules as the queen of Alnoxthenya. A flower-lined path winds down a hill to the sea, where she can often be found.
An essential part of the city is the 'Mirror Wall', a kind of giant screen in which one can see oneself reflected and at the same time movies or visions are displayed. The films are actually impressions taken from the surroundings as well as thoughts of passers-by. Everything is processed and presented on film in an artistic context. So it happens that thoughts of a passer-by are displayed in words and pictures on the wall. In Alnoxthenya the 'Mirror Wall' is a popular attraction and meeting place for young and old. It also serves as a source of inspiration for some artists.
The technology behind it is ancient, but no one questions it because there is no reason to be skeptical and the building is an asset to the residents.
Then suddenly comes the black day for the city.
Nobody knows exactly what happened, why Alnoxthenya perished. It all started because for some reason the technology failed.
Probably a natural disaster as well. There was only one survivor: Julia. And she suspected something.
In the end, she stands in tears on the seashore, at the foot of the preserved palace, looking out to sea.
Out there, somewhere, the inhabitants of the city are drifting, in the vastness and depths of the sea. She blames herself.
Couldn't she have influenced it all better? What happened?
All that remains is her face on the 'Mirror Wall'. And the ghosts in the city...
